NY State Medical Marijuana

Has anyone completed the process and actually gotten any product?

I got my card today and was all excited. I know there is an interview (for lack of a better word) you must go through before you buy the first time. But it also looks to me like you need to make an appointment every time you go. Am I wrong? I wish we could call the dispensary but they have no phone number that I can locate.

Now I must say that after all the hoops are gone through I did receive my card very quickly. But whats the point if it takes 30 days or more to get an appointment.

But the best I could find on short notice was: https://www.health.ny.gov/regulations/medical_marijuana/

In my state, NH, you can get a license, but there are no dispensaries (!). At least not yet. So I don't know what that means.

It's all early-stage growing pains, I guess. It'll be 5 to 10+ years before it's more streamlined, as everyone gets coordinated and figures out the right way to do stuff. Doesn't help you now, alas.

Does yourr license (I don't know if you live on the border of a neighboring state) allow you to purchase from dispensaries in that state? Or are you restricted to NY for a dispensary? And why 30 days to get an appointment? I can only guess they haven't had time to grow this stuff.

That link was very helpful. I think our states need grow up and stop making this so hard on people that need this service.
