Checking in to let you know I'm hanging in there.

I have eight more radiation sessions, and one Chemo.

I'm on the Fentanyl patch. It gets me stoned the first day, ok the second, and feeling the return of pain the third. I don't like painkillers, but I will make an exception this time.

Nausea is still a problem, but it passes after singing an aria to the pocelin pedestal.

So things are going as good as can be expected. I'm coping

My mother in law had a fall, it affected her speech, but she is improving

I got the Fentanyl patch as well. I didn't like it much.

Sorry 'bout the nausea. Is there something stronger you can take for it?

Got Silvadene for the neck area yet?

I was prescribed a drug called Ondansetron, to use after my super-expensive Emend is done (first three days after chemo). My brother, an RN, also suggested this one and has used it himself for seasickness. I haven't thrown up once, and I took it at the very first HINT of any queasiness. Never once did it go further.

10. It's the dry spittle that is causing the issues. I get a two drug cocktail after chemo then a liquid

It works OK.

Surrendering to the nausea, and getting it over with works best for me.

Seven more days of radiation!
