I'm on a weight gain mission. Need to put on a good 12 pounds PDQ. Besides the obvious - protein whey shakes (23 g protein each), nutrient dense meals, power bars, etc. I've been putting together "drive-by" snacks that have some heft.
Found myself making deviled eggs, cream cheese with pimentos on rye cocktail squares, fruit 'n cheese plates, roasted walnuts with honey and such. Stuff my parents made for family get togethers. All good, simple out of hand snacks.

The other stuff sounds great.
However, if you're not able to take in enough to see a difference, then switch to Slim Fast or Ensure as a supplement, something to drink with regular meals. They'll put weight onto you if you have them along with food. They only take weight off if you have them instead of food.

That was one script I didn't mind taking.
Hubby would partake also, and he put on 10 lbs over the course of 5 months.
Now 19 years later, I'm trying to go the other way.
