1. Simplest one - when we lived in Seattle, this is what the locals taught us (EASY!)

Take salmon filets, slather with a good smoky, spicy BBQ sauce in a shallow bowl - let marinate for at least 6 hours in the refrig.

Grill over a hot grill 3 minutes/side - caramelize/crisp the exterior, moist interior - serve over sauteed greens (we like to use collards and/or kale sauteed in sesame oil with hot pepper flakes, pineapple, garlic, ginger, salt and pepper) with quinoa or brown rice.

MMMMM!

2. Just pulled this up because someone gave us a couple of pounds of salmon.

Now, I am not a big fish lover. And I detest the smell of fish in my fridge or on my cookware.

So, better half has agreed to cook this and is going to use your method.

And the rest is getting frozen.

Will let you know how it goes.

And using the aluminum foil was perfect - we ate it right from there.
