plus with COVID, we don't go into many places, especially not ones as tight for space as Aldi's.

Hubs and I had a connection at the farmers market this year who would always save us a few of her tiny multicolored potatoes. We bought the last of her stash Saturday, and hubs is roasting them on the grill right now. They are so incredibly tasty, and they smell so good while cooking.

I have eaten enough potatoes to make myself almost sick a couple of times this year. I expect tonight will be the same.

The last 1.5 lb. bag was $3.97. If I buy larger quantities, they start sprouting before I use them all.

for a 5 lb. bag of yellow potatoes for a really long time now. It's pretty dry here so it takes a while for them to start sprouting. Even if the do a little, I just cut them out and use the potatoes as long as they're not rotting.

The best thing I did for my coffee addiction was to order a five pound bag os beans from my favorite roaster a few months ago. I'm only a little past half done with the bag... I'll order some more soon just because. It's fair trade and I pay a bit more for it but if I'm going to drink coffee, it has to be fair trade.

for a long time, when we joined a co-op several years ago. It was great coffee, so much so that even I could sip it black.

It was $75 including shipping. Don't know what it will be next time but it will be worth it.

they run $3 to 5, for 5 lbs here. a little less for russets, and larger bags of those are a better deal.

It takes us a couple of months to get thru a bag, so I hadn't ordered any in a while. Was really shocked when I saw those prices. This has to be something new going on.
