What's for Dinner, Thurs., Aug. 18, 2022

Beef bulgogi, but I couldn't find bean sprouts so I decided to use a sauce with it: TJ's Thai Sweet Ginger Sauce. I tasted it and it is going to be good!!

I think this is a new product with them.

Asian cucumber salad made with dressing of rice vinegar, ginger root, sesame seed, red pepper flakes, red onion, and peanuts.

Dessert: I'm in trouble here: my friend who recently went to the UK gave me a package of cookies from his trip. I've already tried them and they are so, so good that I know I'll probably have about half the container tonight. Cold decaf with the cookies.

to Emile for filling in yesterday!

and (as they say on Seinfeld) a big salad

I'm going to have my burger w/o the bun, with the salad right on the plate. I guess you could call it a "cheeseburger salad"

Nothing special about the salad: romaine, tomato, cucumber, celery, yellow peppers, carrots and Vidalia onion.

Some Lyndt truffles for dessert.

Dad had chicken w/ veggies (carrots, celery, onion and green beans) in gravy over boiled potatoes.

hey - I'm a left coast liberal, I'm allowed to give it the French name

The zucchini plants are producing, so I'm making a vegetable selection with carrots, celery, zucchini, and some cherry tomatoes I got from a friend. Main dish is chicken Kiev, with rice.
