I bought some boneless pork "ribs" the other day, I think I'm going to do them in my big nonstick skillet on extremely low heat, covered, in a pineapple and ginger sauce, and probably just make a cucumber/tomato/green pepper/onion salad with vinegar and oil dressing, and go out and see if I can find any new potatoes to boil, if they haven't all burnt up from the heat and drought. I have nice sweet cherries for dessert.

Hot here, too. I'm making leek, watercress, and potato soup. It's pureed and then topped with crema mexicana and red pepper strips.

If I'm ambitious, I might make a few things for the week. I have in mind sesame noodles. Sauteed kale with feta cheese. Also cut-up fruit, which I will chill: watermelon, honeydew, grapes, blueberries, kiwi.
