(106,886 posts)Soaked the pintos overnight w/ a lot of diced garlic, onion, serrano chilies, some lime, salt.
Soaking rice w/ diced tomatoes, basil, cumin, a bit of cinnamon and salt.
Will finish all and layer beans, rice and cheese on the tortillas. Cubed watermelon on the side.

LOL, talk about hit or miss.

(10,291 posts)I did the chicken "beer can style" but with a stand, and not a beer can. In fact, i didn't use beer. But I used that method.
the garden veggies were some cherry tomatoes, zucchini, some white onion I had left over, yellow bell pepper, a couple taters and broccoli that I added in the last fifteen minutes.
It was excellent.
