There has been no trial, no evidence presented, no conviction.

I say this as I have been in a similar situation. Two years ago this month, I was a substitute teacher for a first grade. There were two boys in the class so notorious that I was warned about them by the school nurse, another teacher, AND the Principal. During the day, I kept on the other side of the room from them consistently. Just before dismissal, they slammed my hand in the closet door and I murmured that they were both in a lot of trouble.

And I was suspended for "misconduct". It wasn't until I was interviewed by Child Protection that I was told that my alleged transgression was strangling one of the six year olds. I was at risk for arrest, trial, conviction, imprisonment. And I didn't even discipline either of those kids.

Fortunately, all the children in the classroom were interviewed, and all said that I never touched anyone that day. Plus this suspect child was not taken immediately to a doctor, Urgent Care, an emergency room, and/or a police station.

My guess is that a parent of one of the children saw money by a false accusation, would be paid to "settle" and go away.

Darnell Ferguson is NOT an evil person and the person who committed these horrible crimes is evil through and through. This is only my opinion but could someone be very bigoted and angry and therefore, offended by Darnell's success. How could anyone want to "get" Darnell. Makes me feel like crying which pisses me off
