on a grill pan, pretty good, probably the same as over a gas grill.

My favorite is still frying them.

Yeah, I know, frying... But they're so damn good.

Last year for a thanksgiving meal I tried just boiling a huge pot of them and serving with a pumpkin sauce. They disappeared in short order.

Don't get me wrong. I love anything fried. But they turn out nice and crispy on the grill. It's a nice change.

My ethnic background is Slovak (Mom and Dad). I boil the perogi (we say pyrohi) and drown them in onions sauteed in butter. Other relatives put sour cream and fried bacon over theirs....that's a Russian influence.
