What's for Dinner ~ Sunday Nov 4th

I have no idea what I'm having...

I'm sitting here making out a grocery list before I go to bed this morning, and nothing sounds good. The only things on the list so far, are tortillas and cat food.

1. Maybe you need to watch some food shows.

That usually gives me the kick I need.

I think we are going to have meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts and salad. I found a great recipe for frying leftover meatloaf that I am anxious to try. I also really like meatloaf sandwiches, so this will set me up for several days this week.

Plus it's such a great, homey Sunday kind of meal.

6. Good idea! I can watch online, even if there isn't much available on Roku.

I have Hulu on the mac.

Comfort food like meatloaf sounds good! I had Bill pickup some fried chicken, but it's not doing anything for me. Unless food is sweet or spicy, it just tastes flat to me lately.

Hope you have a great day!

Cooks Illustrated "Best Vegetarian Chile" and as a matter of fact it's in the oven right now.

Although many steps, and time consuming (I like these types of recipes on a Sunday afternoon), my place is smelling wonderful and I can't wait until it's done!

lately having a good sized breakfast (spinach quiche) and a large lunch with no dinner. Today for lunch I made Salmon Croquettes with a simple side salad. Several hours later I'm still full. Btw, I found the BEST Salmon Croquettes recipe online.

as well.

The problem is that I love the ritual of cooking in the evening and sitting down for a meal at the end of the day.

Such a dilemma.
