Toasted baguettes with Bosc pears, Gruyere cheese. Raspberry and creme fraiche topping.

Had a few friends over who were in town to do Christmas shopping or just out and about. Kind of a drive by get together, so to speak. Made these to have with coffee. Came out pretty good.

Sliced baguette, lightly toasted. Sliced pears and Gruyere, laid on top of the bread. Re-toasted till the cheese was good and melted, just about to brown on top. Pulled and let set a bit, topped with sliced raspberries and creme fraiche. Dusted with cinnamon, a bit of fresh mint.

I would've never made it to the raspberry stage. It would have been devoured when it came out of the oven. Sounds great though!
