until I teamed up with a Brit, lol.

I think I am going to get a rotisserie chicken and some sides from the grocery store.

Boat work going on today which will seriously impede my access to the galley.

Hope your tooth feels better soon.

We have 8" of new snow on the ground (on top of the 6" we've had on the ground). Snowing hard with up to another 8" expected . Going x-country skiing tomorrow for sure - if it isn't too deep.

I have the makings for a good cabbage / veggie soup, but I'm thinking more along the lines of a fish chowder or albondigas soup.
Both are available downtown so it may be a take out dinner.

Crusty, herb-covered sweet potato bites.

Looking forward to it mightily!

When I was at the market today, they were selling off all the premium brands of fresh turkeys for 59c/pound! But I have nearly a whole roasted turkey in the fridge, and no room in the freezer to stash one away.

That was a bargain I hated to pass by!!

I made chicken breast sandwiches with apple-onion mayo and Romaine chiffonade on ciabatta rolls and fat steak fries, oven baked with olive oil and rosemary.
