Only I'm going to do it a little different. I'm going to add green onions. And for the topping I'm using panko breadcrumbs and smoky paprika.

5. Rotelle pasta with broccoli, red pepper, yellow squash and Italian sausage.

Parmesan, garlic, a hot-pepper-flake kick and a splash of salty pasta water go without saying. This is my go-to dish whenever I can't be bothered to think what to make, but this is the first time I've had rotelle (wheels) pasta. Italians make basic dough so interesting and fun. I usually make this dish with "little ears".

Hitting the table limit at 5 people, but should be fun.

I use a big cast iron skillet that holds everything, once they're cut to size. Really easy to top with spices and some broth. Set it and let it go.

Good day for for a roasted dish - we're having a steady rain here, cool with some heavy bands of rain and wind as the front moves across the area.

and I'm not sure what else. Probably some sort of rice dish and a salad. The coconut shrimp is especially coconut-y when fried in coconut oil. Mr. Pup will be a happy fellow tonight!

First I'm going to hear Zeituni Onyango speak (Pres. Obama's aunt) and then we're going out for dinner at our favorite Portuguese restaurant.

I think I'll have chicken and shrimp. Yum. So looking forward to this.

before going to the movies. I had a bowl of tomato soup with orzo and an order of pita with hummus. It was lovely.
