Related: About this forumAnyone ever had sauteed spinach, feta, garlic and sliced almonds? Is it as
good as it sounds? Should I add croutons to it?

Some fresh lemon juice, optional.
Yum!

(32,084 posts)I haven't made it with the almonds, but I do the spinach-feta-garlic combo fairly often. Sometimes I'll add onion, too. It's yummy!

(53,661 posts)Might want to saute tomatoes, onions and red bell peppers in the mixture, too. I'd start with the peppers, onion, garlic and the tomatoes first. Then heat the feta and almonds, and add the spinach next to last to not get it too soggy. The raw sunflower seeds with some oil, balsamic
vinegar or lemon would be last. I've been experimenting with spinach added to soup or beans and also omelettes. Good luck.
