Anyone ever had sauteed spinach, feta, garlic and sliced almonds? Is it as (Original Post) applegrove May 2013 OP
Just a tweak of virgin olive oil, please, and maybe cilantro. No croutons until the end. NYC_SKP May 2013 #1
Oh that sounds even better. Thanks. applegrove May 2013 #2

Sounds good, I'd toss in some raw sunflower seeds instead of croutons to it, though. freshwest May 2013 #5

Baby croutons, at that.

Some fresh lemon juice, optional.

Yum!

I haven't made it with the almonds, but I do the spinach-feta-garlic combo fairly often. Sometimes I'll add onion, too. It's yummy!

Might want to saute tomatoes, onions and red bell peppers in the mixture, too. I'd start with the peppers, onion, garlic and the tomatoes first. Then heat the feta and almonds, and add the spinach next to last to not get it too soggy. The raw sunflower seeds with some oil, balsamic
vinegar or lemon would be last. I've been experimenting with spinach added to soup or beans and also omelettes. Good luck.
