It is for smoothies. So it will be blended to the high heavens so mush is fine.

you damage the cell walls it's got left and make it mushier, especially when it's the relatively slow process in a home freezer.
If you don't mind mush, go ahead.

it's a smoothie, and they go bad too quick anyway.
We freeze milk too, also in some smoothies, I think.

Freeze them in the peels, then thaw them and carefully skin. Put the mush in your ice cream maker and Bob's your uncle.

Haven't been disappointed yet. Just need to experiment. Vacuum sealing is the best.
