I'm making chili with shredded pork and all the toppings--cheddar cheese, sour cream, raw red onion, etc. and we are getting some unusual beers to go with.
Also a big tossed salad and cornbread.

I hate those rough patches, but things inevitable get better and sometimes they resolve some issues that need to be resolved.
Enjoy your rellenos if you can.
Tomorrow is another day.

How do you do your shredded pork?

(35,675 posts)The RG puts it in the oven in this big orange crock with a lid. He adds vegetables like carrots and onion and garlic. Herbs. Peppercorns. Then he puts parchment paper on top and presses it down and puts the lid on the crock. It results in very, very tender pork that easily shreds.

(146,218 posts)I pulled the squash blossoms out of the fridge and they were one big wad of mush.
I guess you are supposed to use them immediately.
And the corn is inedible, as usual. Why I keep buying it I do not know.
So, plan b - a poblano and (canned) corn soup with the leftover chicken burritos.
