whole wheat sourdough starter

My apologies in advance if this exists somewhere in du*land already but I need help.
I've searched for whole wheat sourdough starter videos on youtube and this other place..vimeo ~or some other place yet again which I cannot recall the name of~ and it must be some mystery of the world to make a simple +whole wheat+ sourdough starter!
If you can help; please feel free.
thanks

What I've done before is one cup of wheat flour, 1/4 cup of rye flour (said to help because it contains enzymes to feed the yeasts that may be limited in wheat flour), 1 1/2 cups of water, a packet of dry yeast, and a pinch of sugar.

Stir it up, let it sit 24 hours, feed it every day with about an additional 1/2 cup of wheat flour and 1/2 cup water. Should be ready to use in 5-6 days.

thanks for the rye starter recipe!

Also:
Can you recommend a good whole wheat sour dough recipe that uses this? That would be so awesome. I found two recipes, one at breadtopia.com/whole-grain-sourdough
and
sourdoughhome.com/100percentwholewheat.html

both links go into a lecture/novella about bread making...
I just want a recipe!

any others out there?
