Driving my friends over the mountains to a service organization meeting, to be held at a pizza place, I think.

I adore these two folks, octagenarians named Barbara and Dave!

How about you?

Simple finger food meal. May find some add-ons as I assemble.

The Wednesday pasta usually was from leftover Sunday sauce. Or, it's just that Prince TV ad was stuck in our brains. "Wednesday is Prince spaghetti day!" AN-TO-NEE!!!

So to answer your question... yep, pasta night for me. Aglio e olio with sun-dried tomatoes, and a sausage link on the side.

We are off on an adventure. Should be gone about 3 weeks. We will have internet availability at times, but I'm not really sure where or when.

I emptied out the market today and feel pretty sure I have enough of everything to last. Hopefully we will run into some fresh produce from time to time, but you never know.

Should be fun, but hopefully not too exciting. Hope for good weather.

for the first time since either of us ate it as kids. Neither of us felt it tasted 'right', but we're not sure whether we did something wrong, or our palates just changed enough that we don't care for it.

Each night, I ate a smallish portion, and saved part. Tonight we are having the leftovers stuffed into tortillas with mushrooms, red onions, and avocado.

and maybe some slivers of turnip added in there.

Threw together a quick pasta dish. Bottles sauce but sautéd an onion, ham, roasted cauliflower, and green pepper. It turned out pretty darn good.
