The article says these are from Trader Joes, but we get them from our local supermarket (Hannaford's). They're really interesting - like a tomato soaked in basalmic vinegar already. Not particularly expensive, and, I think, great on salads and probably a zillion other things I haven't experimented with them in yet.

(50,279 posts)I'm addicted to "Backyard Beauties" from Maine, but maybe I'll give the kumatos a try.
Surprisingly good, both on salad or just as raw wedges. Very yummy. Worth the small splurge.

I need to try to grow some of these. So far I only have strawberries, beefsteak tomatoes and eggplant.
