What's for Dinner, Sat., June 13, 2015

So what's cookin' ?

Because I've been busy gardening all day, I think I'm going to do something casual again, like I did last night. Last night was pizza, tonight might be soft shell tacos.

My other option is a sirloin I picked up at the store this a.m. If I go with that option, it will be with sweet potato fries and asparagus.

Fabulous day in NJ today; great gardening weather!!

Looks like a big salad for me tonight. Maybe I'll throw in some genoa salami and provolone cheese, antipasto style.

It was supposed to be cool today but is in the upper 80s. Oh well. I turned on the AC.

Corn on the side.

Too tired to do much else, the day was beastly hot, and I'm covered in scratches and mosquito bites, but I've already almost filled a 4 liter plastic container with black raspberries, and the picking season is still ratcheting up. Strawberries have mostly given up the ghost, so the gallon I got already probably will be it for jam making, rest we get will just be eaten as they get picked, maybe with some cream and pound cake.
