Still working on cutting down that cherry tree, only one branch of the original canopy is still on the tree at this point, but I've cut up about a third of the branches so far. Using only a Japanese hand saw and some good quality hand clippers.

(35,688 posts)Also, the RG put a couple lbs of grass fed ground beef in a pan, like a giant hamburger. Then he cut it like a pie. It was super-delicious. We also had green and yellow zucchini in olive oil and sprinkled with some type of cheese--might have been asiago.
Numerous bottles of wine and many guests for the evening--several people who had just gotten back from vacay, so there was plenty of discussion about trips. I will be posting an ironic photo goodie in GD tomorrow from one of them, I hope.
