Another pretty basic evening.

Still working on cutting down that cherry tree, only one branch of the original canopy is still on the tree at this point, but I've cut up about a third of the branches so far. Using only a Japanese hand saw and some good quality hand clippers.

Also, the RG put a couple lbs of grass fed ground beef in a pan, like a giant hamburger. Then he cut it like a pie. It was super-delicious. We also had green and yellow zucchini in olive oil and sprinkled with some type of cheese--might have been asiago.

Numerous bottles of wine and many guests for the evening--several people who had just gotten back from vacay, so there was plenty of discussion about trips. I will be posting an ironic photo goodie in GD tomorrow from one of them, I hope.
