What's for Dinner, Sun., Mar. 20, 2016

Appetizer: a small pizza on a low-carb tortilla shell.

Dinner: Steak with mushrooms. Side dish: pureed squash with bits of sauteed apple on top. Salad: tossed greens, and I'm making my own chipotle ranch dressing.

Dessert: Coconut sorbet, but just a few tablespoons.

Pretty much a New England staple. Equal parts ground beef and pork, spices, with mashed spuds folded in. I'm cheating by using the ready-made pie crusts.

Not sure if I can wait until dinner...

Mashed spuds, Greek salad, and eggplant with tomatoes. And a bit o' the red. It's chilly here in Detroit, so this is the perfect Sunday dinner.

with garlic/cumin/turmeric, cherry tomato salad. We ate the best pineapple and oranges that we've had all winter today and are grateful to have enough for the week ahead. Also got wonderful red grapefruit this week.
