The first time I made a kale salad, the comments ranged from "It tastes like something you'd feed to livestock" to "It's like a scratchy, awful-tasting cabbage knockoff".

I tried it as a salad, wilted on plate, sautee'd with butter and garlic, but my friends/family have deemed it "inedible".

That said, I'm willing to entertain any non-raw kale recipes that are presented.

Kale and spinach are far too high in Vitamin K.
