Tonight I'm either joining friends for Chinese or another friend for whatever we decide. I'm not sure which friend to join yet. All I know is I have to get out of my house because my neighbors are having their annual barbecue and the noise drives me crazy. I was invited to the BBQ, but made up an excuse because, urm, their choice in music is pretty awful.
So Japple, I had a sangria for you. I also had one for PennyK and for Galileo. One for LiberalJesusFreak and MerryBlooms, too. After that I was too plastered to remember who else is on our board.
Lobster gazpacho was my appetizer. Then I had chicken francese and shrimp. Big salad, yellow rice with red peppers, and grilled carrots. Mixed vegetables. Potato chips, but fresh ones, made to order. The RG had rack of lamb. It was white sangria that we had. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Re: "After that I was too plastered to remember ..." LOL! That was me on Weds night during the steak cookout. Waaaaay too much wine, too much to drive home, so I crashed in the guest room. Very smart desicion.
