Here's one that was a big hit back in the 50s and 60s. It was a banana candle. I nearly choked when I saw this re-creation of something that my mother made, which was a pineapple slice with 1/2 banana on top, then a cherry on top of that and grated cheese all around. The ones my Mom made never looked obscene!!!

many years! I still love to look at old community cookbooks and crafts books for those regrettable images.
