1. Tomato and carrot soup

Cook fresh tomatoes and carrots and slice into blender. Add chicken or vegetable broth. Blend. Saute green onions and chopped kale in olive oil. Add a small amount of flour and any spices or peppers you like and cook til smooth. Add blended mix and cook slowly; add broth if needed. Do not boil. Add cream or sour cream for bisque. Top with croutons.

Our choices tonight were Wendy's, Taco Bell, or Waffle House. We had patty melts at Waffle House It will be so nice to be settled again and have real food.
