What's for Dinner, Sun., Oct. 30, 2016

Last week I made this incredibly delicious pork chop by marinating it early in the day with olive oil, rosemary, and garlic. Salt and pepper, of course.

It was so good that I wanted more, so I put the marinade together earlier today. I have apples and intend to make my own applesauce, so that will be this evening's meal: grilled pork chops with applesauce. I want to grill the pork chops since it is so nice out. Before I put them in the slow cooker, which made for a very tender pork chop. Hope my grilling doesn't make it tougher. I intend to grill them on low.

Kale salad with blue cheese and bacon bits.

Chardonnay.

with a couple of Italian sausages on the side. Besides the mega-garlic, parsley, and red pepper, I'm adding sun dried tomatoes. The grated cheese is pecorino romano.

with garlic under the skin and herbs on top. It will be plenty for three, with leftovers to make sandwiches with. With mashed potatoes, my favorite food of all, gravy, peas, and we'll see if the first of the season's grapefruit are any good. Not particularly gourmet but satisfying.
