What's for Dinner, Tues., Dec. 20, 2016

Appetizer is flatbreads dipped in tomato sauce. A little Swiss cheese, too.

Chicken tortellini soup. It has red pepper, garlic, cream (I'm using light cream), spinach, parsley, and thyme. Chicken, of course, and tortellini.

For dessert, baklava and hot chocolate.

OK, so we went looking for a classic lobster roll, but today the place we usually go to had a "seafood" roll. Lobster, shrimp and scallops with a touch of mayo and some lettuce in a large roll. The usual fries and coleslaw as sides (not much of a choice here). Oh, and a pickle.

For tomorrow, I asked my dad if we can visit my fave Chinese place. So, I'll let you know what I have ... it is a "must" on my wish list.

ps: Still cold here. Ugh.

on your holiday trip. I know what you mean about those "home food" specialties. When I visit my family, I have to have a "runza" from the Runza Hut. A Valentino's pizza is good, too.
