My girlfriend and I are going out for Indian food at a restaurant tonight. This place has very good mulligatawny soup, which I haven't had in years.
I also plan on having sag paneer, which is spinach and some kind of Indian cheese that looks like tofu. Also chicken masala. I'm looking forward to the naan bread, too, with raita and also that chopped up onion topping (can't recall the name).

(2,302 posts)My recipe is very simple; just cutlets and zucchini, and a sauce made with cream and chicken broth. Hubby gets naan and rice, I'll just add a few Brussels sprouts for myself (still trying to lose weight).
I also made low-carb Strawberry yogurt popsicles which will be my midnight treat!

(2,590 posts)We are having my homemade spaghetti sauce with thin spaghetti, a green salad, and brownies for dessert.
My family needs this - we have been eating out of cans and boxes for over a week, plus take out.
No takeout can rival home cooking!

(2,016 posts)So I'm hanging out in Phoenix with my buddy, and he asked if we could try a new Cajun place. I said "sure".
Oh my, very well done! I had the fried catfish with the crawfish sauce, a cup of chicken/sausage gumbo, and we shared a plate of BBQ shrimp. And, they had a blues guitarist playing in the dining room for our listening pleasure.
A very good place, tucked quietly into a strip mall. I'd definitely go again.

I later researched the Indian restaurant my friend and I dined at and found out it till has quite a good reputation. Too bad I don't get up to that area more often.
