Appetizer is a few celery sticks filled with cream cheese mixed with sesame and pumpkin seeds.
Salad is going to be sliced pears and blackberries with a mixture of endive and red leaf lettuce. Im going to sprinkle in some blue cheese and toasted almonds.
Salmon steak. Im going to glaze it with maple syrup, and top it with orange slices and thyme.
Dessert is carrot cake (flour-free) with orange-spice tea.

(16,104 posts)Best gumbo I ever had was out of a takeout shack on a beach road at Dauphin Island.
Served in a jumbo Styrofoam cup, it looked like the ocean was crawling out of it!

(1,462 posts)Sometimes I make bacon/chicken alfredo pizza for my niece and nephew when they come over. It's quick and they enjoy making the pizzas. I will post pics next time we make it.

The salad is baby spinach, bell pepper, tomato, and onion with a red wine vinaigrette.
