What's for Dinner, Wed., Aug. 2, 2017

Watercress pear salad. Little bits of gouda or parmesan, haven't decided which.

Crab risotto (ordered from a restaurant). Love risotto, but too time consuming for me to make in the summertime. This crab is to die for, though; I tasted it on the way home and it is like little pillows of crab. So succulent.

1. Thai Cuke Salad

Salmon patty, and cold tea.
The Thai salad has a mix of cukes, onions, shredded carrots, yellow & red pepper topped with peanuts. Salad dressing is rice wine vinegar(this has lower acidity then white wine vinegar) sesame oil, minced ginger, red pepper flakes. It's a colorful healthy summer salad.

I love it. It's one of my summertime favorites.

When my cucumbers start producing, I'll be making it again; yum.

I make this with any crunchy veggies, but always with thinly sliced cukes & onions as the base. Enjoy.

Grilled center cut pork chops. Just salted and grilled to perfection. 4&1/2 minutes each side. Scalloped potatoes and chopped kale salad. Turned out delicious. Pork chops juicy, but done. Mmmm

with meat sauce, American style. It's a leftover. TJ made it. I added some shredded Parmesan cheese.

I might eat some salad later, but I am feeling tired, so I might not.

I made german choc cake last night for dessert tonight.
The roomie made beef kabobs with sweet peppers on the grill. Kept it simple with sticky rice for the starch.
We ate on the back patio while enjoying cocktails.
Nice!
