(3,744 posts)I think I'm going to fix a portobello burger with mozzarella, roasted red peppers, grilled red onion and arugula. Yum! Maybe I'll fix some sweet potato chips with a smokey seasoning sprinkled over it.

(21,761 posts)Cook up a few chicken breasts... Kind of plain, just pepper, then cut into bite sized chunks. Make some ziti. Mix with some broc, peas, ranch, the chicken, more pepper and some fresh grated romano (some salt if you must). Cool in the fridge and serve.

(6,581 posts)Got up and did it first thing this morning. I made gnocchi -- half with sweet potato and half with spinach. Parboiled it, then put it into a baking dish, and covered with a white cheese sauce with some browned, crumbled pork sausage and cheese.

(135,060 posts)my son had rice and refried beans in the form of a slider and actifry fries. Master is having peas, actifry breaded shrimp and some fries. I'm going to have the rice and beans sliders with shredded cheddar cheese, onions and tomatoes with a side of garlic edamame.

(118,778 posts)I saw it in the grocery store today, while looking for a pork roast, and thought now is as good a time as any to try it. It was really nice. Though too expensive to make a habit of it.

(28,791 posts)they were freakin famous for it. $9 or $12 would get you the full dinner. Saturdays too if there was any left from Friday. They had to stop about 5 years ago, when people stopped splurging. It's probably a good thing, I would have had a massive heart attack by now if they hadn't taken them away from me! lol!
on edit: when prepared exactly right by an experienced hand, it's carnivore heaven on a plate. I'm too scared to try it yet, they are expensive! Maybe I can call up George's and get their recipe, since they don't serve it anymore.

(50,130 posts)I have a lot of garden tomatoes in the freezer, and a lot of hamburger in the freezer. Need to get busy using that stuff up! I jazzed it up with some hatch chilis I also had in the freezer.
The border collie was very happy to have a spoonful on his kibble. Woof!
