I'm on my own for dinner for the rest of the week, so it looks like tapping into some of the RG's delicious meals (AKA leftovers) from the 'frig. He has flown to Scotland to throw a log in the games at Stirling (sp?) Castle.
So tonight I'm thinking to heat up the delicious cannellinis and top them with chopped celery and red onion. Also parsley. Glass of white wine.
Later on, I'm going to celebrate my first cucumber by having it with my very own dill and chopped red onion with sour cream.
Dessert: red and green grapes, a slice of apple, and some honey goat cheese.

Made a run to my local Winco this morning, and restocked a lot of bulk items (spices, rice, pasta, etc). I'm ready for the zombie apocalypse...

(32,975 posts)My neighbor gave me some of her grape tomatoes and basil. I got small round mozzarella balls, quarted them, cut the tomatoes in half, slivered the basil put every thing on top of the hot just cooked bowtie pasta, slid it under the broiler for 2 min to melt the cheese....Mm mmm. Italian bread & garlic oil.
