What's for Dinner, Fri., Oct. 13, 2017

Shrimp chowder.

Salad is chopped vegetables with sesame oil drizzled over them. I took big leaves of Cuban oregano and sliced them very thin and mixed them in. Also parsley. I find adding herbs like this to salad makes it more interesting.

Cuban oregano

For dessert, a very thin slice of crumb cake and some orange spice tea.

I'm using the NYT recipe, except I'll add garlic when the onions are carmalized.
I'll have a spring roll and decaf cold tea.

I used the entire 14 ounce jar of Kings brand (I get no bennies from them, just the brand I had on hand)Kimchi instead of the called for 6 ounces, and I didn't put a fried egg on top. There are 2 servings left , so it made quite a bit.
