What's for Dinner, Fri., Oct. 27, 2017

A Mollie Katzen recipe: Broccoli and Friends. This goes way back to her first cookbooks. Just saute broccoli and onion, thyme, and a few other seasonings, and roll it up on a wrap. It is so good, especially on a very fresh wrap. I like to put mozzarella on top before wrapping it up.

Dessert: a couple of the little apple strudels I bought yesterday. They are only about 1.5 inches square, but are they ever good.

The chicken is marinating in mojo sauce, a Caribbean citrus sauce. Cold decaf tea.

It is a little north of Placerville, CA. Came home with Winesap Apples, French apple Pie, Apple Crumble, Apple Almond Torte, and a Scarecrow and fat Christmas snowman - handmade.

My mistake was using mozzarella instead of provolone which I prefer.. Oh well. It was still good for a chilly night here in ATX.
