the RG doesn't relate to tofu.
So later, when I had made the soup (he had plenty of input), I said "Do you think this would have been good with tofu?" and he thought for a few seconds and said tofu has no flavor. It picks up whatever flavor you cook it with.
True enough, but don't you think tofu sauteed in sesame oil until crispy would have been a delicious addition? Yummmmm.
