What's for Dinner, Sat., Dec. 23, 2017

Little seafood sandwiches on pumpernickel. There is shrimp and one spread made with cod.

Bowl of seafood soup. Tomato base, lots of veggies, with flounder and clams as the main seafood.

Dessert: cup of ginger tea and 1/2 slice of almond cake.

Chicken breasts seared in a hot skillet with a little olive oil, onions, and garlic. Then deglazed with white wine, covered, and simmered with herbs. Makes a great reduction.

Homemade classic red sauce over radiatori. Sautéed spinach.

A little busy on the cook top.

at Texas Roadhouse restaurant. (No one felt like cooking.) With mashed spuds and a house salad.

Made a beef cacolia for my family yesterday, which came out great. My Portuguese dad loved it. There were no leftovers.
