I'm going to ask the RG to make glazed salmon tonight. It's so delicious the way he makes it. Or maybe put it on a plank, if I can find the planks.
I'm making a salad called "Wild Rice Salad with Rainbow Chard and Grapes." I've made it before, many times, and it's really good. It has only a small amount of rice in it--1/2 cup--and the other ingredients are rainbow chard, hazelnuts, feta cheese, grapes, rosemary, and it has balsamic vinaigrette as the dressing.
Harvested quite a bit of tarragon today, which is good with cucumbers, so I may make a sliced cucumber salad using it. Tonight I'll clean it up and chop it to make pesto for the winter.
I also bought a watermelon today, so we might have that for dessert, but if not, I also have sea salt dark chocolate.
on edit: it's tuna steak instead of glazed salmon. Appetizer is pate and triple cream French cheese on crackers. Broccoli is the vegetable. My wild rice salad turned out terrific, but at the last minute I thought spinach would be a better green than chard, so I went with that.
