Chickpea pasta? A review.

Basta chickpea pasta.
Inexpensive and comes in a variety of shapes.
About the same calories as regular pasta, but more protein, more fiber, and less carbs.
25g protein vs 13 for wheat pasta
13 g fiber vs 3.
43 net carbs vs 71.

If you're looking for a substitute for wheat pasta it's better than spaghetti squash or zucchini "noodles" (shredded zucchini).

A bit chalky(?) but not all all bad.
Not as good as real pasta though.
Google Basta pasta and you'll find it.
Buy directly.

Taste is weird. Texture is weird. Back to Dreamfield's which is slightly more carb friendly.
