from this: http://www.food.com/recipe/chicken-curry-in-a-hurry-29301 with some rice and stir-fried veggies. It seems to be a good and fairly easy recipe.

Pot roast is a favorite Saturday meal for my family during the winter. But it's acting like Spring here in the midwest, so something a little lighter is warranted.

I found a recipe that looks good. Going to serve it on steak with a side salad of avocado, orange and red onion.

Husband has a very bad cold and can't taste a thing. So he won't notice if it's not good.

for a family thing. They are serving lasagna (from frozen) and we are taking a big salad.

I know the lasagna will taste fine but we have been low to no salt for months and I am trying not to eat anything like this (processed/fat). I am not looking forward to this. You can't say anything or you will just draw attention to yourself so it's best we eat a tiny bit and try to fill up on salad!

and kind of hiding it in plain sight while I filled up on salad & other non-meat sides when speaking up would cause a problem. Stealth foodery.

so I'm trying to figure out what she can have with the veggies and broth (which she loves).

....or even lay it down in the bottom of the dish. Or some whole-grain noodles for her.
Or if you are thinking she needs more protein in the meal, how about a side dish of cottage cheese for her?

for a belated birthday dinner. But this will come up again. Yes, I was thinking about what protein I could sub for the beef. Maybe I can learn how to braise tofu and slide it in at the end just before serving.

served over a mixed green salad with artichoke, tomatoes and a creamy wasabi dressing. We'll have a baked sweet potato and crusty roll on the side. Saturday night, alright!

I fried up some peppers and onions to top off the cheese steaks. They were sloppy good!
