We're going to an Irish pub in our old neighborhood for chili, then burgers with cole slaw. This pub has the most delicious burgers.

(22,048 posts)From two different directions, we rendezvoused at our mountain house in time to prepare dinner.
We marinated a salmon steak then grilled it along with a nice chunk of broccoli. Combined with a cheesy spaetzle, it was a delicious dinner. In the lower Catskills today, it was a lovely Autumn evening and with the fire pit blazing, it was quite comfortable to eat in front of the campfire.
We retreated inside for a dessert of white chocolates and red wine.
It was a good day.

(55,019 posts)we were expecting our first freeze (barely, but still this is Arizona) and I jsut wanted to use the oven for a change. LOL did them at 200 for a couple more hours in the same dirty pan today, they were gone when I got home so I assume they came out better.
