It's salad bar night! I've been busy making salads while the RG has been out on LI. That is, in between teaching classes. So far I have:
cucumber salad in crema Mexicana
spinach salad with grapes, toasted almonds, and Manchego cheese bits. I use Marie's cole slaw dressing on this
cole slaw with fresh pineapple bits
fennel salad with orange slices and citrus dressing
For starters, however, crackers with various cheese spreads and also chicken livers.

Weve been fasting since yesterday because this party is always catered by a high-end NYC chef.

Al got me some Lorna Doone's yesterday, so that's dessert.

(68,576 posts)with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was even better than yesterday...flavors mingled...and for dessert...peanut butter cups...gluten free and no corn syrup...guilty pleasure.
