Related: About this forumWhat do I do with the peach syrup?
I just make two kick-ass peach pies for Ethical Culture. But I have maybe four cups of syrup that came with the canned peaches.
Is it safe to throw down the kitchen sink (with hot water running) or should I chuck it with the rest of the garbage?
It has high fructose corn syrup. I don't want to ingest it.

(22,757 posts)don't throw it out... drink it, make smoothie, use it as liquid in bread/cake/etc... boil it down and use as syrup on pancakes, make oatmeal with it, put it in garden, etc... I hate throwing stuff out

(1,483 posts)I was envisioning the poster pouring peach syrup down the drain and being met with much love and appreciation on the microbial level.

or dump it, it is just sugar and water with a bit of juice/flavor
