What's for Dinner, Tues., Jan. 1, 2019

Pappardella with homemade bolognese.

I missed the RG's pasta dishes so much while he was away. This was number one on my list of what I wanted when he returned.

For dessert, we are having chocolate hazelnut gelato.

Roast chicken and veggies...and perhaps a bit of last night's sugar-free Key Lime cheesecake.

We spent the day driving back to NYC. Dinner has to be easy since we're both tired.

Sliced turkey (real breast meat), lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese with spicy brown mustard on Kaiser rolls. Chicken soup since we're both still under the weather.

No dessert. Just bed.

grrrr...

Grilled pork chops, collards, blackeyed peas (recipe from Cooking & Baking) and cornbread.

I made vegan brownies but I'm calling them Shareable Brownies. And I've got part of a trifle done.
