What's for Dinner, Mon., Feb. 18, 2019

Pasta Aglio e Olio. Pasta with garlic and olive oil.

Tossed green salad with carrots, cucumbers, red onion, peppers. I have the freshest spring mix for it.

Maybe some roasted Brussels sprouts. Yeah, prol'ly some roasted Brussels sprouts. I will roast them with peppers.

And even though I'll have to go to the store, I intend on having some chocolate Haagen Daz.

The RG is in Manhattan tonight, so I have to take advantage of this opportunity, heh. I will avoid this:

BJ's has 3 pound Perdue rotisserie chickens for 5 bucks. After finishing off the drumsticks and other dark meat, I can't dig too far into the breast, so strip off all the meat I can and make the chowder. It lasts a few days.

We drove up to the mountains in the early evening and didn't have the energy to put together a meal. I pulled out some frozen soup we made a few weeks ago and served that with some fresh bread we picked up locally. I complemented the soup with a tomato/onion/dill salad. We still have a bunch of Christmas chocolates so those made up our meager dessert.

Tomorrow: Venison!
