Good thing we had half the salmon from yesterday put away because there was no getting into any store around here; they were all packed and people were waiting for parking spots.
So we're having salmon, roasted potatoes, and a little quiche the RG made. In addition, a tossed green salad using baby spinach and baby arugula.
For dessert, coffee gelato, vanilla pudding, and two tea biscuits each.

(9,353 posts)Always wanted to ask someone who has actually used one.
Are they crispy? Are they tasty? Is it worth spending the bucks for another machine?

(9,353 posts)Or did you actually slice up some fresh potatoes?
Have you tried real chicken that was fried From scratch?
I want to know if one can actually cook with this gadget or if its just another dust catcher for the kitchen counter.

(1,706 posts)open faces - toast with a fat slice of tomato, bacon and a slice of cheese, baked until the cheese melts - and sweet corn, just out of the pot, with butter and salt (tomatoes and corn from a roadside stand) - my idea of the perfect August meal.

(55,019 posts)A little pricey but great for new cooks and to push picky eater boundaries just a bit. Lots of fun if you already cook - kind of like play food. LOL
If you or anybody wants to try a free box, I think I have 5 to give out. You will have to send me an email addy and maybe buy one more (I don't remember) but they are good with the privacy and don't send much spam, easy to unsubscribe.
