Not sure for me...
I think Bill is going to make stirfry, (which is soooooo good) but I am feeling horrid, so I may just have some cold pears and blue cheese.
What's for dinner where you are?

(110,159 posts)we arent big potato salad eaters. but we like this one cause it has a different potato and that makes all the difference.
4 to 5 cups cubed waxy potatoes, cooked, drained, cooled*
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped red onion
3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped sweet pickle
2 teaspoons sweet pickle juice
1/2 to 2/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 to 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir gently to combine. Refrigerate until serving time.
Serves 4 to 6.
*For best texture, use new potatoes, red skinned potatoes, or other boiling potatoes.
i never measure out the celery, onion or pickles. i always put more in them than what i am suppose to.

Sorry you are not feeling well again, but pears and blue cheese sounds pretty darn yummy.

(1,706 posts)as suggested by noamnety in a thread awhile ago about venison stew. I used ground venison and the tagine was sublime with it. Husband and both teenage boys consumed large quantities.
This recipe would be good with beef or lamb. If I had access to good grass-fed bison meat, I think that would work well too.

Lucinda, I hope you feel better soon, and that the pears and bleu cheese hit the spot.

I don't know why there's so much food in the fridge. We did raccoon night last night but I still see oddball containers of things. I think we're all eating less.
Did you have the stir fry?

(51,907 posts)A quick couple of minutes on a Foreman grill is all it needs. Will slice leftovers for beef salad or stir fry later. Serving it with sliced tomatoes, basil, goat cheese, and vinaigrette dressing.
