We had a late lunch of crab meat quiche, two types of salads (chopped salad and also coleslaw), grilled sausages with red pepper sauce, and the last of the apple pie with walnuts for dessert. Over the top of the pie, a spoon of vanilla caramel gelato. My new chamomile tea (loose leaf) came in, so I had to test that out.
I worked several hours re-vamping my crab meat quiche recipe. I made one the other day and decided I wanted to try it again with a few changes. This time I used spinach.
I bought new tea in loose form instead of bags because of a new report that's out that says tea bags put microplastics in your system.

(1,706 posts)a kombucha brewery with a restaurant/bar. My husband and I had "Bucha burgers" that had bacon jam and swiss on them, and our son had poutine. We shared a charcuterie plate, my husband had a dirty martini and I had a kombucha flight. All quite tasty, and the fresh kombucha is so much better than bottled supermarket brands. And so many places here have vodka as the default liquor in a martini, nice to see a place that assumes you'll have gin.

We had pork roast and fried (and baked) chicken legs as the meat. So tender! Pasta pilaf with mushroom gravy, baby carrots and corn. A cuke salad with lots of paprika and Hungarian fruit cake and cookies.
I made a chocolate and peanut butter desert called Spider Web Munch. Post that separate. Its real tasty! Easy to do - even with a broken wrist! Lol.
