I roasted kohlrabi slices

to go with my dinner. My fbg was higher than it was at last year's well check. In spite of trying to keep my daily carbs at 180 or less, it went up. So I am trying to stay right around 100 carbs. And trying food I wouldn't usually think of.

Kohlrabi has about 5 grams of fiber in a cup and 3.5 grams of carbs. I sliced and roasted it in a little vegetable oil. It was good, tasted like cabbage or broccoli. I had it with curried chicken and jalapeno vegetables.

I thought I was doing good since my last check-up. My cholesterol was down 17 pts, so I was doing good on that lol
